 Subjugation capacities of domestic dogs and various wild carnivores. I wish there were a few other breeds included, like the Alano Espanol, but whatever. I am a bit surprised at 2-3 lions being equal to one Dogo, if there was an ''S+'' tier they would be there. Here is a detail I want uneducated guys to notice. The dogs in A are 1 of 2 things: Too small Too big A and S are a bit interchangeable as well, but I was assuming really good fighting bull and cape buffalo and I doubt a lion or tiger could achieve that more often than not and sincerely thought about cape buffalo being in S which would reshape the list. I was dealing with a lot of animals and limited tiers so bear with me there lol. |

Why'd I put the giant forest hog under the wild boar? Didn't intend to do that. Saw them on the DVD and they look cool, they didn't set the dogs on them for fear of getting shot down with heavy artillery.

Dogs are probably the worst fighters since they need gangs, sonthey need to be moved a bit below.

Dogs are probably the worst fighters since they need gangs, sonthey need to be moved a bit below. But catch dogs (AKA the only dogs I put highly) usually hunt solo or in pairs. I put dogs that are actually bad fighters in low tiers, or dogs that were too small. E.g. Dobie and Labrador and Jagdterrier, which is a great excellent fighter but it's too small sadly. I'm trying to have faith in big LGDs, I actually think 120lb LGDs would be best. But for bison and camel I would definitely NOT favor them. Even giant forest hog is rough and best they could do is maybe hold it, they seemed somewhat lethargic which is why I think LGDs could catch them and not get gored too horribly. |

I am assuming you mean forelimb grappling? I mean they can only do so much against big cougars/leopards/jaguars/lions/tigers. Against ones their own size, they are roughly 15% stronger, which allows them to stand an excellent chance against big cats their own size. Cougars and leopards, for example. They're ''better fighters'' but they are severely outsized. Of course, LGDs, herders, Spitz and such would be outgunned at parity anyways. Top tier catch dog types win though. Their ability to tackle big game exceeds forelimb grapplers at parity, because forelimb grapplers are at risk of getting thrown off, kicked, gored and overpowered. Catch dog types can endure these g forces and win by being a draining anchor on their target. |
