We all know that hypothetically, yes, of course. It's pure logic available to all. Do you not believe it's possible for a dog to evade a constrictor? Even though evidence abounds of them evading much faster elapids? Do you believe a constrictor could endure infinite bites to the skull forever? Each one hundreds of lbs of force hammering into their head? Combine those two things and the fact a Spitz COULD kill a constrictor is self evident. Equally a Spitz could get caught and coiled and killed. Perhaps through complacency in evading the strikes or committing to a bite too long and giving the snake an opportunity to coil. Lots of possibilities, but one is absolutely the dog killing the snake.

There is a video of a pitbull type dog managing yo kill a venomous snake yet this one could not survive an Anaconda attack.
So that does not guarantee anything.

Well you can bum rush and slaughter a venomous snake quickly because it's so small. I was thinking of dogs that circle and evade venomous snakes and wear them down and wear them out. They could do that more easily to a constrictor.

I'll note that jaguars, lions and tigers have very strong forelimbs to support big game predation, sorely lacking in antelope and deer specialists that are cougars and leopards. Persian leopards are unique, and they begin to come close to jaguars. All of those 4 show what's needed to be an effective feline big game predator. That doesn't change the fact that a 30lb Pitbull can grapple a 2,000lb bull that would send a pride of lions to the shadow realm though. It's kind of amazing that dogs are on a similar tier of big game predation with these giant felines which are coming close to the strongest land carnivore and are definitely the best of the wild predators. I think a male lion is the 3rd strongest land carnivore, the only predators that beat it are much larger polar/kodiak bears. And 30-120lb gripping dogs are among these beasts in predation abilities. A 2.000lbs Bull is morbidly obese, that thing is to Bulls what "Hulk" the 180lbs APBT is to Pitbulls. A fat wuss. Seeing how Lions have experience tackling Cape Buffalo, much stronger and more impressive than that thing with no stamina and with a ridiculously large body fat %, i don't see how they wouldn't be able to kill it solo. Also it's false that they are close to Jaguars and Lions and Tigers in predation ability because predation necessarily means killing, which they aren't good at.

I think hand grappling is better, because it has reach.
