What I think it means is that only a handful of people are aware of what is going on in that image which is hunting and most people chalk it up to a dog barking at a squirrel in a tree or something. Might be wrong but still funny.

I was referring to Stuckie, the redbone coonhound that mummified itself while chasing a raccoon inside of a trunk 40 years ago and was randomly found recently - Attachments:

Lol, cool.

Dogos used to track game in South Africa - Would be cool to see some Dogos actually lugging African animals. Bushpig, antelope, leopard, warthog, wildebeest, cape buffalo, whatever... I know they do because they exist in Africa but there's gotta be a community of bushpig catching Dogo guys somewhere? As opposed to vague clues I've gathered here and there.

Do you know where the photo is from? Knowing the location should be a first step towards an estimate, since Puma populations vary greatly

Doesn't look heavier than 110 lbs, 120 lbs max. A 170 lb cougar would dwarf any of those dogs. This is what a 180 lb cougar looks like, look at the size of those paws and limbs Comparing that cougar to the one in the image I've sent you'll also see the head size is also mediocre - which it is since it's also significantly smaller than that of the white dogo/dogal on the right. Cougars around 140-150 lbs start having heads as large as dogos or slightly larger, 170-180+ lb would be much larger. Here's the head of a another cougar likely to be be close or over 170 lbs. Again at the size not only of the head but of the limbs and paws. Yea that cougar in the pic is 110-120 lbs at best

Maybe it's the angle, it's a wide head because male cougars have proportionally wider heads than almost any canid, and at 115 lbs they are shorter but slightly wider than that of a dogo as I've got the measurements on the dogo v cougar thread . The dogo's head still looks not only longer but probably even wider from a speculative dorsal view. I don't know it looks to me like the dogo's head is considerably larger overall . Now heads up cause I'm in a debate against a caracal fangirl
