Ok. I actually did not know that about proboards. I may join a bit later. You may hate me for this, but I was hoping to post on why I agree with the BSLs for pitbulls. Ok, but if you do that please make sure you know what a legit A.P.B.T is. Those dogs that got attacked by the bobcat? Not A.P.B.Ts. Those big 100+ pound dogs? Not A.P.B.Ts. Those dogs you see in shelters? Most of the time not A.P.B.Ts. Those dogs you see on the news? Not A.P.B.Ts Some of them may be pit mixes but not A.P.B.Ts I am aware that pitbull is a term for a handful of bulldog/terriers but they still need to be banned due to being obsolete killing machines. |

Mixing with totally unrelated dogs like a labrador makes things worse. My uncle got bit on the face by a Pit x Lab mix. They're popular, can be good, but are completely useless. Pitbulls are great if gotten from a responsible breeder. There's a reason that when a pitbull attack is reported you don't get to know the bloodline/breeding, and if you do it ends up being some stupid bully breeder or something. Like that attack on Tennessee from the bullies. My question to you is- What separates American Pitbull Terriers from the rest of the gripping dog family besides an unjust reputation? Their psychology is the exact same as all the other bull terriers, and similar to all the other gripping dogs, why them? It's just irresponsibly bred mutts, no one breed in particular. BSL sucks, it does nothing. What do you suggest BSL changes? Plus, give them an inch and they take a mile. You're not just banning pitbulls, you are destroying livelihoods/lives - murdering innocent dogs of all shapes and sizes - allowing the government to think they can ban everything else. Pitbull is not an umbrella term, it is a shortened version of the American Pitbull Terrier. If the dog doesn't have ''Pitbull'' in the name then it isn't a pitbull. |

I guess the pitbull may have the advantage, but it is still funny how much the Bobcat destroyed this shitbull. If the family had not intervened, then the Bobcat could have actually saved human lives.  |
