Whereabouts? Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk Here is an updated list: 1. Polar bear 2. Brown bear 3. African lion/Bengal or Siberian tiger 5. Asiatic Black bear 6. Sloth Bear 7. Jaguar/American Black bear 8. Leopard/Cougar/Sun bear 9. Green anaconda 10. Spotted Hyena (?) While there are some rare cases of constrictor snakes managing to ambush powerful predators, constrictors lose in full on fights. Ocelot kills anaconda. Account of a Burmese python that was killed by a similar sized or smaller bobcat " On 17 December 2019, we tracked a telemetered python (previously measured to be 3.1 m in total length with a weight of 14.7 kg) to a hollow Taxodium distichum (L.) Rich (Bald Cypress). We noted that the python was disturbed but not handled by the observers, appeared to be in good condition, and had a blue tinge indicating the beginning of ecdysis (shedding cycle). During the subsequent routine field check on 31 December 2019, we located the remains of the study animal 228 m from the previous sighting. Based on the amount of decay, we estimated the carcass to be less than 1 week old. The posterior third of the python’s skeleton and 1 of its 2 VHF radio transmitters were found in a Bald Cypress stand. Scattered portions of the vertebral column and several severed rib bones were pressed into the substrate. These remains were found 2 m away from a disturbed cache site (cypress duff raked into a pile typical of feline kills) and a felid scrape, which is recognizable by 2 parallel claw scratches in the duff. Due to its size,we determined this scrape to have been made by a Bobcat; a Florida Panther scrape would have been 2–3 times the size of the scrape observed. Thus, we assumed this python was attacked by a Bobcat." source: McCollister, Matthew F., et al. "Native mammalian predators can depredate adult Burmese pythons in Florida." Southeastern Naturalist 20.2 (2021): N55 Yet there are accounts of Burmese pythons killing pitbulls and Green anacondas killing cows and caimans. Definitely the rare. The "record" sized Anaconda according to Wikipedia is like 80-90kg? I can easily find you random images of Anacondas larger than this. It's widely accepted that they get far larger than this Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk These animals can't grapple, making it easier for a constrictor snake to kill them. Dogs seem to lose easily to constrictor snakes no matter their formidability levels.

Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk It wouldn't win but also would never in a million years get caught. A Collie that sees a snake and knows it's there will never get bitten by it. Not even a black mamba, let alone a gigantic constrictor. No chance in hell.
