B-b = Black-backed. Please rank then from 1-6 based on how they'd fair. Hardcastle Bolushi

Dingo and coyote would be battling it out for top #2 though I think the coyote finds itself throttled practically every time. Absence of evidence for dholes and AWDs despite being the coolest, I think a solitary one is a bit like a stranded minnow or something. Jackals if you compare their performance against dogs are absolutely terrible.

Physically the AWD should win this, it's the biggest and the best. BUT the dingo and coyote are scrappier and fight more.
In gang warfare it's a no brainer that AWDs win. Dholes would be right there with them, but too small.
One on one I'm really not sure, I just wish I could see one AWD fight something one on one. I still lean slightly AWD.
Black backed jackal isn't in the conversation, it is vermin to the rest of the competitors. Like a rat.
A large "dingo", a big feral dog, would win for sure.

I think the AWD is more poorly suited for combat than the dhole and both are kind of fish out of water solo while dingoes evolved to be both solitary and in packs.

I think the AWD is more poorly suited for combat than the dhole Proportionately I could see that, but at their real sizes the AWD is a fair bit larger. Yes and also there is a lot of fighting within dingo packs. Dholes and AWDs don't fight their family members, and typically only ever engage in attacking anything as a team. The odd exception on a deer or gazelle here or there but I'm yet to see a lone dhole or awd fight any kind of carnivore (even their own kind, not alone). This could be a factor, but the AWD's size still seems to be a big problem here for the other contenders.
