I'd place my bets on the teamwork of the lions ever so slightly more often than not, but if one of them rushes into the bear close quarters it's liable to get fucked pretty quick. The other would have to jump on its back and distract.
Maybe 2 smilodons would have better odds.

Two 320kg lions vs one +1000kg bear. I think the bear could possibly pull it off at these weights, but I wouldn't be surprised if the lions won. |
