Truth in what way? They often try and make out they're bad for the environment, that is bullshit. Farmers don't like them because deer country is tick country which means they have to have their livestock dipped before they can sell them, which is an expense and an annoyance. Apparently they can also potentially spread disease to livestock. But bad for the environment, no. That's a lie. There's also not that many of them, they aren't very widespread. Those red spots are the only places they live. That said I'm lucky enough to live very close to red, rusa, fallow and chital. Rusa and fallow have come up to my back fence.

No. I want to breed livestock and I hope and pray my farm also has wild deer on it. The more the merrier.
