I'm placing my money on the Akita 85/100.

As far as dog vs dog matchups go, I actually consider this a classic, and a very interesting one.
Very interesting.
See, the Akita is ofcourse a spitz breed, a primitive basic "pariah design" dog. BUT it's one pushed to the limits for combative prowess. The japanese used this lineage for hunting boars and bears and for dog fighting and they became as formidable as they could... while still being a spitz breed.
Then we have the rottweiler. The rottweiler is a gripping dog, BUT it's the most primitive and basic gripping dog. It's the "roots" of the gripping dog lineage. It's a cattle droving dog that was expected to grip them and lug them occasionally when they needed it. In many ways it is still a basic primitive pariah dog in it's heart, just one adapted slightly to be better able to endure beatings from bovines and also with a wider muzzle and grippers mentality (to an extent) to hold and hang.
So in the end, we have a spitz breed levelled up to 99 for fighting, and a gripping dog on novice level for fighting.
Note though that "gripping dog", is really an elusive way of saying "fighting dog". The gripping dogs would go on to prove they are the best fighters among the diversity of dogs, and would indeed displace the akita and other dogs like them from their specialised fighting roles... all around the world. BUT Those who displaced the akita, were levelled up from the rottweiler by quite a bit.
So... It's really up in the air.
They're weirdly evenly matched.
Personally, and I can't necessarily elucidate why, but I feel like the Akita is JUST a little over the rottweiler based on everything I have seen.
That said, I MAY be basing this on akitas with gripping dog outcrossing (which many have). I'm not sure. I think it's very close to be honest.
