Obviously chain weight. Whenever they can dog fighters try and create that advantage, try and negotiate a catch weight after they know the other dog had already got down to match weight etc. You want your dog coming in all comfortable and vibrant and hydrated and also carrying weight the other dog will have to push around. It's always the guy with the lighter dog trying to force the heavier dog to come down to his weight. If you said "at parity", then it flips. So a chain weight dog that weighs 55 lbs, vs a match weight dog who has cut to 55 from 65. Then the match weight dog has the advantage because it's a bigger stronger dog. If they are equal in true size but one is carrying some extra weight (within reason) then the heavier more comfortable dog will have an advantage.
