I was originally going to use a Tosa Inu, but after some reconsideration I believe that a Kangal would actually be a harder opponent for a big guy like Francis Ngannou, since the dog is just so big. Hardcastle @hammerhead Bolushi @ajay lincoln

As long as Francis doesn't get over-awed by the moment and remains composed, he can win for sure, without much trouble. That's not a given however, the way he froze up in his first fight with Stipe and his fight with Derrick Lewis demonstrate that he can be rattled pscyhologically. A very large dog with very big teeth barking and snapping at him from across the ring might freak him out.

Ngannou is still considerably bigger than the dog, no? He fights around the 260-lb range pretty comfortably.

Yes, he'd walk around about 300 lbs normally. A huge fighting kangal might get up to 90 kgs or 200 lbs.

I think that Ngannou wins with some injuries

While a Kangal would be a big problem for just some rugged farmer who would kill a german shepherd or pitbull or etc. etc., I think this is just a mismatch due to the man being much bigger unless he freezes and gets toppled. Now we're having problems and a giant dog is crushing Francis's muscles and bones, ripping out flesh, so on and so forth.
