In that case probably a stalemate unless Arthropleura had venomous forcipules, that's literally its only way to kill a man.

The weight estimates of 50 kg (110 lbs) go hand-in-hand with the estimate of it being 2.6 m long, though. I think it's because arthropods are much lighter than vertebrates at these sizes.

If no mandible remains have been discovered, then it's likely that Arthropleura either had weak mandibles that preserve poorly, or just none at all.
