Gharials are actually very rare in the wild, which could account for a scarcity of cases where they are preyed upon (and the main potential predator, the tiger, is also rare). There was a recent case where a tiger broke into a gharial breeding centre and killed 3 gharials in Nepal. One may say these are compromised captive gharials, I don't really think so with such a primitive archosaur, I think they just are what they are and can't be quite so compromised like mammals. I feel like they'd definitely be on the menu for tigers in the wild when the opportunity arose, but it may be difficult to find real cases. At the same time, I haven't gone out of my way to look.
