Toyotomi was a giant, for an Asian man and in general - standing at 6'6 (or roughly the height of an average door). If he keeps his cool he can win easily. Bolushi @hammerhead Hardcastle wermthewerm @carcharodon and etc. Attachments:

If he's armed with a katana or something similar, he could probably win if he cuts an artery. Unarmed? Smilodon shreds every single time.

Not only is he a master swordsman and a samurai, but he's also friggin' for 6'6, for the 1500s and for an Asian man... that's insane.

He definitely wins if he's in armor and wielding a katana.

The size comparison doesn't help the human, but yes if he's good with a blade (and duh) he can win.

Do you mean it doesn't help because he is still severely out-weighed, or because his height is irrelevant? If it's because you think his height is irrelevant then you're wrong, not only would he be able to tank more paw swipes and bites, but his katana was also probably larger than the average one, since he was a foot taller than most other warriors.

He still looks tiny and fragile compared to the smilodon. Just goes to show how massive smilodon was.

Toyotomi would win as long as he’s got armor and a sword.

That seems kind of excessive? Is this like those t-rex and megalodon weights? (LOL JK)

Yeah I guess... But he lived in the early 1600s, and was Japanese, two factors that make that weight rather extraordinary.
