I used to be a dinosaur guy when I was like 7-9, but everything I watched was outdated shit like the carch biting the spine of a bipedal spinosaurus etc. etc. I'm putting my money on Giga though. I know a bit about it, but I also know nothing. I know it's really strong but I don't know why it's really strong and I recall its biteforce wasn't the best. But biteforce doesn't win fights anyway.

From what I’ve been taught, Giganotosaurus is the larger and more robust of the two and has more powerful jaws. It also hunted sauropods, that was likely in packs though. However, imo it probably really just depends on the individual dinosaur tbh.

I would probably bet on the Giga, it’s a better combination of size and agility IMO. Many don’t know but I am secretly also a dinosaur guy

I thought that was Mapusaurus that took chunks out of sauropods like cookie cutter sharks? Yeah, I think you’re correct. Some old books have Giganotosaurus hunting Argentinosaurus but IIRC Argentinosaurus coexisted with Mapusaurus, not Giga.

Giganotosaurus and an undescribed giant titanosaur rivaling Patagotitan in size were from an earlier formation.
