Not really IMO, doesn't have any control of the dog, won't be able to apply pressure accurately to drive it's fangs into a decisive spot. A bit like punching someone from your back. Might cause a wound, likely just to neck skin, extremely unlikely to be lethal or alter the dogo's behaviour.

Nice photos! Did that dogo kill the porcupine? And is that a bulldog used to hunt the puma? Catchdog I assume.

Yes, I am surprised they're able to dog porcupines with catch dogs there and I did see a picture of a Dogo that got a face full of quills. They probably train them to harass and dart in or something. You mean the brown bulldog? Looks like a catch dog for trapped cougars. I didn't see the trap at first, so not actually the dog hunting and the dog looks bad for running across mountains but decent for just subduing a cougar that can't get away. What I'd like to point out is its head isn't bloody at all from the lynx but it is bloody from the cougar. I don't know, anything is on the table. They have guns too. What I do know is that the dogs weren't there for no reason.

Porcupines have evolved quills specifically to fend against predators. A lot of dangerous game I think can be taken out but definitely not porcupines.

There are videos of dogs killing porcupines. It's a skill dogs can learn, once you learn to avoid the quills they die very quickly and easily.

I thought it was the end of the road for me regarding pictures but nope: What the fuck is a golden retriever (or alternatively a weird greyhound) and some other mutt (sort of qualified) doing hunting cougars? It's really that easy? Lol... a bit skeptical.

It's that easy if they are just bailing it up and he's shooting it. I saw his huge knife (kitchen?) though, so it is confusing.
