The hyena is in for a very brutal mauling from a 65kg boar hunting dog. Every encounter between them would result in the hyena being grabbed by the face, and you could hunt them like you would a boar. Dog grabs it, mauls it, then you grab its leg, topple it over and stab it in its dangling pseudo-penis. Now the question is ''but could the dog kill it?'' and the answer is... maybe. There will be individuals that can, maybe the average O'Halloran Hound could, but there's also merit to the idea that a female spotty would be too much for any dog. Dogs still belong in its bracket, they're on the same tier, and hyenas are much worse fighters, but the likelihood of a hyena outlasting the dog is somewhat high. This outlasting idea would result in the hyena running away, but if you locked them in a cage just maybe the idea of the spotted hyena actually killing the dog afterwards becomes somewhat likely. The dog could just never run out of stamina and relax when it needs to. If it does that, the hyena is doomed. If the dog lets go and refuses to compete until it regains stamina it may get its guts spilled out. So far I'm thinking 50/50

2 of these dogs would brutally destroy a spotted hyena by the way, it would be completely immobilized.
