Is there a rogue big cat in the UK moors? And what was prowling and terrifying people in the French countryside? I think the french countryside was terrified from a dog? Likely looked like a Bullwolfhound that learned to avoid and fuck over people. Might've been Spain or some Spanish place, there was something like a BWH in the countryside fucking them in their asses. Are you referring to the same situation?

The evidence for big cats in the UK is actually pretty compelling. Like the videos and pics are quite good. Australia has some as well but ours are IMO always clearly just big feral domestic cats. Some of the UK ones are undeniably more than that.
The beast of Gevaudan I'm fairly convinced was actually a stray/lost boarhound. They shot a bunch of wolves and each time the killings would continue. They only finally stopped when they shot a large dog that was wearing armor and had human remains in it's stomach.

I remember a theory that the beast of Gevuadan was a animal (some huge hound/hyena) specifically trained to attack people. There's been a lot of ideas floating around: it was actually a young/maneless lion, a costumed serial killer confused for a wolf, or was actually a series of attacks caused by multiple animals, like a legend formed around attacks from hungry wolves in proximity to humans.
