It just got a knack for killing jackals) and putting meat on the table. Its current usage is police/military/personal protection work along with being one of the most common farm dogs due to their ability to guard the farm/homestead along with them being a very versatile dog that can do a variety of tasks and interact safely with wild card animals like porcupines, skunks, turtles and snakes. They're smart, crafty and have good judgement. vs  Height: 24-28'' Weight: 60-90lbs Place of Origin: Europe/Siberia The Steppe wolf is a smaller wolf subspecies. Predates on deer, boar and smaller game. It lives in packs of 2-6 usually, with some packs being larger. lincoln I made it Steppe as a GSD would wipe the floor with an Indian wolf. |

I'd go wolf at parity, it holds a bunch of little advantages. Though the GSD is slightly larger, and between 2 animals so close that might grant it the win. I'd say 51/49 in favor of GSD at average weights and also 51/49 at parity in favor of wolf.

I'd go wolf at parity, it holds a bunch of little advantages. Though the GSD is slightly larger, and between 2 animals so close that might grant it the win. I'd say 51/49 in favor of GSD at average weights and also 51/49 at parity in favor of wolf. Such as dentition and agility. |

Eh, I'd actually say the GSD is more agile but it really doesn't come into play here. Both match each other. But in a battle of tooth sharpness and tooth length the wolf has a bit of an advantage, along with being a wild animal. Which is bullshit against combat dogs but somewhat relevant here. Yes, the GSD is not in that boat, hence why it's a bit relevant. |

This is a tough on. I agree with Bolushi, it would be close to 51/49 or 49/51 at parity. However, the GSD would have an advantage at average weights because of its size
