That's not bad, I'd say you definitely know the keys.

I'd almost take you for a typing pro. Or maybe Hammerhead. I wanna see some supra-120 typing by someone here. Alright, I’ll take it. I don’t know how to touch type though but I’m interested to see how I compare to everyone. Around year 2000 I taught myself to touch type while doing an IT certificate course. When I do these tests I can go at some speed but it's like hanging on to a wild horse, not easy to maintain. And with some words I almost come to a grinding halt. Definitely not pro typist level.

It's weird I consider myself a good Typer, it's been my job and I clack away at a pretty fast pace imo and in the opinion of people who see me type. When I heard about 80 wpm legal typists I thought it was just ridiculous, then I heard about 100+ and thought it can't physically be real. Then my stepdaughter cracked 120 which is apparently top 1% of even elite professional typists. So I guess there's always levels. I will say reading and replicating what you see by typing is not something that comes naturally. I do wonder what my "really mad at a can fan and it's all spewing out of my brain" speed is. It's definitely quicker than my typing test speed. Doing a quick search it looks like World Record typing speed is somewhere around 170 - 180 wpm. 212 is the record but in a very short test of 15 seconds so it doesn't count. I saw a doco once on the fastest typer in the world and while he obviously touch-typed, he uses a non-standard finger configuration he lucked upon while learning.
