I was thinking 38lbs, not 38kgs. That's too big.
Sky is the limit. English Bull Terrier may get thrown 30ft into the air, whatever, it's used to those g forces. It's basically like a food addict trying to eat a huge peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It will take a long time to eat it, but it will happen eventually.

They're larger because that's how big they have to be to see bulls as a viable prey item. So bullcat, bulldog... what's the difference?

You should leave if you want to leave. It seems you learned nothing from the Hammerhead saga. This cunty shitty behaviour of listlessly sighing while you look out the window all sad, insulting the board and threatening to leave... is precisely the ONLY reason Hammerhead got in trouble, just so we're clear; it's not the move.

Say the matchup is dumb, insult Bolushi, insult his grandma, threaten to find him and kill him (or maybe just argue your case, I mean, whatever), and if that is unsatisfying, you can always discretely mosey off without making a fuss. FTR, Carnivora didn't "grow at an alarming rate", a built-in community transferred to carnivora after it grew at a much slower rate than Food Chain elsewhere, and I was one of the people slowly growing that community 22 years ago. It was one thread about animal fights on a forum about shark attacks, that's how it started. Carnivora didn't grow shit, it has only shrunk a community down slowly over time, to the point where now it's pathetic and nothing to envy. If you admire it so, you should go over there, I'd be so curious to watch on and see how much fun you have. Sure it will all go smoothly and great.

This is dumb. It is a bulldog. It is specifically designed to get kicked and stomped and flung 25 feet into the air by animals like gaur, and then come back and pin them by the nose anyway. Animals like gaur, and also actual guar, extensively through the british raj period in India- the ebt specifically (it was he preferred bulldog of the time and place - though we may call them "miniature bull terriers" today, due to how small they were) took on gaur and brought them to their knees, regularly.

THE Indian bison (Gavceus gaurus), or the Gaur, is undoubtedly the finest species of the genus Bos in the world.

This excerpt is just to show that this Author henceforth means Gaur when he says "Bison".

Previous to the time when my duties led to my living entirely in the jungles, I always kept one or two good bull-terriers for encounters with jackals, wild cats, &c. On the few occasions when I had the chance of using these dogs at formidable beasts they so distinguished themselves as to im- press me with a high opinion of their prowess, and of their ability to over- come larger animals than might be thought possible

The hunting of large and dangerous game with dogs may be managed in two ways: either with a pack merely to find and bay the animal wherever it goes, sufficiently discreet to keep out of its reach until the sportsman comes up with his rifle : or with dogs that will seize any beast at once and hold it until it can be speared, or killed with a knife. The latter sport is naturally much more exciting than merely shooting an animal found by dogs ; and whilst the former method is useful for tigers, especially wounded ones, almost all other smaller animals may be killed with dogs and the knife alone. It is of this latter class of sport that I propose to treat.

In Ceylon the game hunted is the sambur deer (Rma Aristotelis), and occasionally the wild hog. But there not being a sufficient number of sambur in accessible localities in Mysore to make them an object of pursuit, I determined to make a trial with bears, bison, panthers, and wild hogs. Since commencing I have killed several bears, panthers, and bison, and also captured a young wild elephant which the pack seized without hesitation.

I have not had many fair chances at bison with my dogs. The solitary bulls that lie out by themselves are the best animals to attack. Buffalo might also be hunted in this way in many parts of Bengal and other places where they are found. When it is considered with what ease one good dog can pull down the largest tame buffalo or bullock, it may easily be imagined that a bison or wild buffalo has no chance against three or four. His enormous power is of no avail to him against such pigmy antagonists. A less powerful but more active animal would stand an infinitely better chance of escape by shaking them off, and betaking itself to flight, than does a bison.

We came on the bison in bamboo-cover after two hours' tracking. The finders were all slipped at them, but the seizers were kept in leash till one of them should be brought to bay. A bull made off up a hill by himself, with the finders after him, and they badgered him so much that he soon stopped to fight, whereupon the seizers were taken forward and slipped. I came in view in time to see Bill Sykes fix on to the bull's nose, when he turned and thundered down the hillside past myself and men, at a pace which was astonishing in so heavy a beast. Bill Sykes of course hung on, though he was carried through two or three thick places where any but a most determined dog would have been swept off. He was a model seizer ; he always went in straight, and never waited for a more favourable oppor- tunity, nor the assistance of the other dogs. Dogs may be sacrificed by this reckless courage on occasions, but the general safety is best insured by all going in without hesitation, and holding on under any punishment. How often curs with just enough pluck to make them take a snap or two are killed by going within reach of a dangerous animal, whereas dogs that fix and hold render the beast comparatively harmless. Seizers should act by nature on the tactics recommended by Nelson to his young officers in their dealings with the enemy : " Never mind manoeuvres ; always go at them."
The other dogs did not get a chance till the bull was at the bottom of the hill, when they sprang at his head one after another as they came up, and pulled him down. They kept his nose to the ground whilst he bellowed with fright and pain, and made but poor attempts to gore them with his horns. Thus a few dogs prove more troublesome assailants to a bison than a tiger does, as the latter, from his size, can be more easily tossed or trampled on.

As an instance of the dauntless courage of the above-mentioned Bill Sykes (an imported dog, for which I paid 20 in England), I may mention that before I had had him long he one day, when let loose, seized Soondargowry* by her trunk, and hung on until we succeeded in catching her after she had run through the jungles until she could scarcely put one foot before the other ! He could never have seen an elephant before, but a bull-dog is not dismayed by any object, however strange. In this respect he differs from every other created being.

*That's an elephant. Which had earlier been live-captured as a 2 year old 900 lbs youngster by other bulldogs. It then later as a captive adult animal, had this run in with a bulldog (named Bill Sykes).

Bonus bear hunting description (mostly for the detailed dog description, but maybe people need to understand what these little dogs can do to bears as well)

I shall best convey an idea of how the sport of tackling large game is to be conducted by describing a few hunts in which the efforts of myself and pack have met with success.
The first animals I introduced my pack to were a couple of Bears. I had the following six seizers then :

Marques (An imported bull-mastiff, weighing 40 Ib.)
Lady (A country-bred bull-terrier bitch, 35 Ib.)
Bismarck, Viper and Fury (Pups of the above, weighing about 30 lbs each)
Turk (A country bred bull-terrier weighing 40 lbs)

The above was not a strong pack; Marquis was old, and three were only pups. However, there was nothing for it but to make a trial.
One morning my men succeeded in marking two bears into a favour- able locality among some rocks on a hillside near Morlay. The hill sloped gently to the plain below, and was clear of bushes. We approached the rocks from one side. There was no cave, but the bears were sitting on a table-rock, overhung by a larger one, enjoying the early warmth of the sun preparatory to turning in. Upon our appearance within thirty yards they made off. I killed the female on the spot with my express. She tumbled off the rock and rolled a few yards ; the male jumped after her, and with howls made off down the hill. The dogs were with us in leash, and as soon as the bear was well started they were slipped. Unfortunately Turk tackled the de^d bear; the other five pursued the fugitive one. Marquis was up first, and sprang at the bear's head, and over the two rolled amidst fearful shrieks from the bear. I thought no dog could have held on under such somersaults as they turned ; but when they stopped, Marquis was fast to the bear's cheek. The bear now reared up, and might have punished the dog, but Bismarck at this moment seized one ear, Lady the other, and Viper and Fury his snout. From that time the bear was unable to rear, the dogs pulling him over sideways, or keeping his head to the ground, at each attempt. He tried hard, but in vain, to clear his head with his paws. I had expected he would cut the dogs up a good deal, but they kept his head down so much that he could not strike out, and at close quarters he could not tear them. In about ten minutes the bear was quite done, and two thrusts with my knife behind the shoulder settled him. I might have killed him the moment I came up, but there was no necessity for it, as the dogs were masters of him after he was seized. None of them sus- tained any injury on this occasion.

Two days after this, one of the largest male bears I have ever seen was marked into a small detached jungle. Captain P. had joined me in the interim, and with the dogs and a few men we started after the bear. A couple of trackers, P. and I, took the dogs inside, whilst other men were posted round the jungle, and directed to keep up sufficient noise to deter the bear from breaking out. Their occasional shouts unfortunately dis- tracted the dogs when slipped, and they ran wherever there was most noise. I had Marquis by the collar myself, so when Viper and Bismarck found the bear I slipped him, and he went straight in. The bear made off, fighting and growling fiercely. We had considerable difficulty in following fast enough, but at last we got up. The three dogs and bear had then been at it about two minutes. When I appeared on the scene the dogs were hold-

It's what they do. Styles make fights, and bulldogs are weirdly very very very very good at dealing with large bovines (who knew, maybe a clue was in the name or something- and dangerous suids and bears FWIW).
Yes even bovines that sometimes stomp and fuck up and even kill lions and tigers, don't get mad, just acquire the appropriate respect.

That said, as an AVA matchup, with a fight to the death stipulation. It's a stupid match up. It's probably not helpful for the forum for bolushi to make matchups like this. Who knows maybe it does make would-be members feel sick to their stomachs? 
BUT maybe it was useful for YOU, because you got to learn that bulldogs are ... bull-dogs. A fact which evidently escaped you until now. That's a plus.
