Argentinosaurus is 4x the weight of each elephant, the elephants don't stand a chance. Hypothetically if you could get 2 robust, large-game carnivorans that were each 1/4 the Argentinosaurus's weight, the Argentinosaurus might then have some defending to do.

Hypothetically if you could get 2 robust, large-game carnivorans that were each 1/4 the Argentinosaurus's weight, the Argentinosaurus might then have some defending to do. The fact that something is on par with 4 of the largest land mammals to ever exist just makes me appreciate how awesome sauropods are.
