Even if I was perfectly fit I would be like 200-220lbs. I'm confident in me to get mauled and eventually win out, like you. Who for some reason insists on saying your victory will be a cakewalk. Hopefully you perform better than criminals do against German Shepherds. You won't, but that's fine. I'm only saying you suck and are overconfident and will have it much worse in practice than you're stating now. Pitbulls have mauled grown men, 80lb pitbull-esque mutts. |

It is annoying that ling is so cocky, but he seems to know that he needs to strangle, and that's bad, because he's right. While ling was strangling the dog and all "hehe fucking dog" and sneering with a facial expression like this-  We'd have to then send in a second dog. 2 dogs and then you get results like this even when the guy is big and strong and knows what he is doing-  But yeah, unfortunately... I hate to admit it but Ling might just fucking strangle a dog to death in a 1 on 1 fight. It would be so horrific and sad but that's what might happen. We'd have to crush a snake's head in a vice to get even. Or jurassic park a T-rex back to life and then stick an electric rod up it's ass until it dies. |

They rarely see the dog coming, and when they do it's already too late for them to be able to retaliate, also criminals are trying to get out of that area as fast as possible, most of them would be trying to ignore the dogs or run away, and not to mention a bunch of criminals are high on drugs or are unfit and unhealthy. I should be able to strangle the dog, I'm not being cocky, I'm 6'3 and almost 3 times the dogs weight. I would overpower it and strangle it, yes it might bite me, but it won't do enough to be able to bring me down. Also we have to remember that in this situation I should know exactly where the dog is. |

You will want to avoid the dog biting you. Apparently the pain is totally incapacitating unless you are completely blitzed on PCP or something. Like people picture the dog biting their forearm and then they just fight back casually, but from all the things I have heard that bite just makes you fold and lay down in full involuntary submission. Sends a shockwave through your nervous system that makes you shut down.
When I picture myself beating basically any dog (or wolf, or hyena) the main point is the grabbing fistfuls of neck, close to the cheeks, and holding the animal's mouth out of biting range. I've actually done it before on dogs when breaking up fights, where they were fully spazzing out and trying to bite me, and they were nasty strong dogs as well, but they couldn't get their mouth on me because of the way I was holding them. And yeah, sadly, I could have done whatever I wanted to them. But you have to get that hold.

Then I start pushing him away, and mind you this is a measly bloodhound. It's a bit difficult and Luke is being very half-assed about it. I think Ling would be totally shocked and panicked if some bulldog attacks him.
But yes I could've just grabbed Luke and do anything but since he was only nipping me (he has drawn a bit of blood on me, doesn't hurt much at all though) it's not necessary. Sometimes Bo will act as a meat shield. Haha.

Yes, perhaps you would be able to finish the fight if you can manage to dominate the dog and try to not get bit. If the dog bites and holds, then you have to keep your cool with the pain and I'm just not so confident you'd be able to do that. Then again could be wrong. I know I couldn't. I rely on my inherent ability to sense when dogs are getting tense and dangerous due to how many Bo and Luke scuffles I've seen. |
