You'd have to assume Lab, generally speaking. But a rare working poodle would be better than some random pet lab. I recall a funny episode of "Duck Dynasty" where Uncle Si showed up to the duckhunt with a poodle and they were all laughing at him and then it kicked ass at retrieving ducks.
