Is avatar 2 better than the first one?
The first one was boring and forgettable.

Honestly I thought it was better, most people didn't. The marine environment/creatures especially were very cool.
It was insanely long however.

Living the dream Antonio. How'd the littlies go with Avatar 2, more family friendly than 1?

Still very sad and they cried here and there, but they were ready this time and toughed it out. Even I may have nearly cried at some parts. Don't want to give spoilers to anyone but I'll just say I really liked the whale things so ... those parts got to me. Lol.

Went back to the roo-heavy spot, didn't get a good chase but winnie did flush one out that nearly ran into me. The top vid is just when she detected the scent, it's hard to tell but she goes from scanning the ground for scents to heads up pursuit when she finds it. I'd already seen the roo in that spot from like 150 metres away.
They put a lot of quails up too today, but I suck at filming unfortunately.

Out all the time just never take photos. Like I said it doesn't come naturally to me, I'm always more immersed in the moment watching and listening and looking for animals. They started "pest control" in my preferred area, shooting the hares and foxes with thermals at night and laying down foot traps for feral dogs which makes them block off whole sections (and luckily I ran into the guy doing it and had him explain to me where all the shit is and what it is, luckily no poison). Pretty annoying because now I'm not seeing any hares and it seems to scare off native animals as well. Such misguided stupid environmentalism which is actually anti-environment. I'll try and make an effort to get more photos next time.

Had my camera out ready today but a very uneventful day of outdoorsering lol That is a quail being flushed in the last vid but can hardly even tell... I'm bad at this.

I actually took a photo of what I thought was a fox at the time, but when I actually zoomed it looked just like some lame old cat. Btw the picture is very blurry because I was like 2938383828 miles away from the cat and had to zoom in a lot.

I have only actually ever seen a wild fox once. Obviously because they usually only come out at night. I have seen badgers too... just roadkill ones. Like three times. I've seen the holes they dig though, like over twenty of them lol.
