How Well Does "Arena" Search Function Work?

In the Arena section how well do yus find that search function works? If I put in "Sydney" it doesn't come up anything at all and there's a "Sydney Funnel-web spider" title there. And other searches like "leopard" bring up threads, but they put a lot of threads without "leopard" before a lot of things that do have leopard. Is that search function somewhat dicky? And like "Sydney" I put in "bobcat" and nothing comes up when there is a bobcat thread title there.

Can't say I have tried the search function here yet, but I recall the search function on proboards is generally poor.
