Any thoughts or disagreements on this? I was most surprised by scenthounds, they are actually weirdly heavy for their heights.
Frankly spitz breeds kind of can be as well, especially the akita but I think it's from mastiff admixture.

Well none are 36" tall, really, so it's kind of hypothetical. Bully kuttas and great Danes can be, and can actually quite easily weigh 200 lbs when they are. I'd speculate they'd need to be no more than 180 to work, if it was at all possible. But a 36 inch tall boarhound isn't going to be much less than that. That's a very huuuge dog. Those "huge" working boarhounds in the dogs hogs and quads videos, maxi and horse, who tower over the other dogs, are 29" and 30" respectively. Diesel was about 33" and weighed 165 lbs. So yeah a 36" dog with boarhound genetics is gonna unavoidably weigh a lot. |

Well it may just match the boarhound guide, because apparently Tosas can be 32", it would be nice to think those tosas are no more than 140 lbs, but they probably are.
Logically a 32" bulldog would be 185 lbs, that may be more accurate for tosas, or probably somewhere between boarhound and bulldog (since that is kind of literally what they are) IDK.
