I think it's a greyhound x shepherd/collie/cur/scenthound (1 of the 4) mix, but then once it gained the confidence to engage the greyhound blood was clear how it shot straight for the neck.

It wasn't trapped, that's good. I seen it walking around, don't know what the hell it was doing standing there. Might've been a subadult, considering the fact that it seems like it hadn't registered that dog = danger.

Good video, but looks like a mongrel cur of some kind, with herder, scenthound and bull influence I would say. Probably some sighthound too but not a big percentage.

Might've been a subadult, considering the fact that it seems like it hadn't registered that dog = danger. Looks like it just got caught out in the open and figured it might as well fight. If you look around there are no trees. It backed itself into the biggest rock it could find to try and ward the dog off with paw swipes. Then it saw the human and was like "fuck!" and started moseying off and the dog got stuck into it.

It does look pretty small TBH. Not a baby, but youngish and probably a female, maybe 85 lbs.
