No. Not obvious to me. I'm going off my own rational mind. I'll take it all on board, but I'm not trusting them to be right this time, for the first time ever, for once. No. Obviously the future will show they were mistaken, so it would be foolish to be like "yep, they nailed it, totally accurate". No it's definitely still all up in the air. And will be probably forever. All you can do is say "Given all the available clues... I think..." and reason out why you think that. It's good because no one can ever say "haha fucking loser, wrong! Here's the stone tablet with the real fact on it". No all we can do is say "interesting take, I don't think that, I think this" etc etc and we can all remain calm because the truth is it's still unknown.

Yeah... but as of RIGHT NOW these are regarded as accurate sizes. So stop being a fucking idiot and just leave it alone instead if taking out-dated estimates from like 5000 BC and considering them correct like jesus.

I think the old one is too high. That's what I think, and I have no reason to give a shit what they are saying this week.

T. rex is generally agreed to be the largest theropod with FMNH PR 2081 at 8.4 metric tons, and Scotty is even larger than that.
