They are irritating- Catfish tastes very good, they are badass and unique and if I wanted to kidnap it and keep it, they are very very hardy and if I ever kept fish it would be catfish. I would feed them other fish.

In Australia everyone just gets annoyed when a catfish gets hooked up. But ours aren't large and no one wants to eat them.

I have seen a few Buzzards before.
They are a lot larger than the other birds of prey here like smaller Peregrine falcons and Sparrowhawks.
They hunt rabbits and have been known to prey on fox cubs too.
I saw one with a broken wing once at my uncles back when I was like 11.
It was cool because I could see it up close. I'm pretty sure it died the next day though, he through it on top of this canister filled with wood and ash, so that I could get a better look - the talons were huge (compared to an 11 year old).
So I favour the Buzzard solidly.

We actually have lots of different catfish, but the two I always see are eel tailed catfish like the pic, and also salmon catfish or "forkies" (because they have a forked tail). Both can get pretty big, 20 inches for eel tails and 25 or so for forkies. As far as I'm concerned both can be found in both freshwater and saltwater BUT it's possible the fw and sw eel tails are totally different species (maybe even different genus). Forkies I think just go anywhere. I think some of our serious full-time marine catfish are probably edible(maybe even nice) but I don't really know much about them. Eel tails are annoying to catch because there's so many and they're so slimey and and hard to get off the hook. Actual eels are annoying for the same reason. Fishing in fresh water you're so happy if you catch a silver perch, yellowbelly, bass or, even better, Murray cod, specifically because you DIDN'T get a catfish or eel. You're like "YES! I got an actual fish!!". That's kind of just how everyone thinks about them. And that's kind of the thrill of freshwater fishing, dodging the eels and catfish and getting a "special edition rare Pokemon" fish. Marine fishing is easy mode, you just get all sorts of different things easily.
