I want to major in Zoology. I actually read research papers in my spare time. Perhaps your learned perspective from me and Hardcastle would be of great value in the zoology field. I’ve made many realisations and exited many false realities since I met you guys. Thank you, it is much appreciated.

Florida it is though. And I haven't been to school for a year. I definitely do not want to be held back a year so I have no inclination to go to school because I think that will happen. And as time goes by it gets more and more likely. Who gives a shit about being held back a year? That's no big deal at all. You're gonna have the rest of your life to not go to school. Stretch it out. You're an academic now. It's impossible for me to go to school without being forced into public isolation. That is why I don't go now, sadly.

You could get accused of truancy. Like, seriously.

It doesn't help me at all and I rarely do it nowadays. I mean, it is being orchestrated by my grandparents which are I believe 78 and 79 respectively and only one is/was participating. They don't have the time to be doing that, so they give me easy stupid shit. Truancy implies excessive absence but I have nowhere to be absent from. I am required to get basic education I think which I am but not anything worth a damn.

What do you hope to do in university hammerhead? I want to major in Zoology. I actually read research papers in my spare time. I do hope to be able to travel across the globe during my expeditions. Zoology is ok. Better than Biology IMO. Paleontology might be good for you too. Ecology is good as well. If you can find a "Natural History" degree, I'd say that's the best. That angle of inquiry is right up our alley. You need to be careful not to pick something that seems like its cool and fun and about animals and then it's brutally dry and sterile science and incredibly boring. There's a lot of stuff like that. Natural history is not like that- A natural historian sees a mouse run and says "mice run". A zoologist has to run a series of tests on mice and then eventually in 12 years conclude that mice might possibly run given the available data. Meanwhile the natural historian (aka naturalist) has moved on to bigger and better things 4000 miles away with an encyclopedia's worth of animal knowledge accumulated. If I could go back I'd actually do "Natural history" and/or "Classics", which is like "ancient history" but a way more fun and interesting angle of investigation. I see these two subjects as kind of similar. More free and less restricting than "science" or "history" generally are. Science sees itself as the be all and end all and anything that can't be empirically proven with peer review is non-science and invalid, but natural history sees itself as bigger than science. It refers to science but isn't contained within it. What is Natural History anyway? Natural History is dying and we are all the losers. So yeah, my vote would be to go for "natural history" if such a thing is available for you to study. I'd say all of us here are amateur Natural Historians aka Naturalists.

Is marine biology any good?

They're all good. But you said you don't have patience for tedious things. I'm the same. I couldn't stand biology for that reason. It just wasn't me. I realise now I am a natural historian and a classicist and an author, whether I am qualified or not is a totally different matter (No, I am not), but that is my angle of interest in animals and humans. I'm not a scientist. Never could have been. Maybe you are and that will be cool. I wasted time trying and then was disillusioned and gave up when it was so not what I was interested in. I wish I understood then what I know now.

Yes. I’m in that stage of my life right now. Focusing on my GPA and SAT/ACT scores. If you’re in Australia you should be preparing for your HSC(?). Florida it is though. And I haven't been to school for a year. I definitely do not want to be held back a year so I have no inclination to go to school because I think that will happen. And as time goes by it gets more and more likely. Sometimes I do wish I lived in Florida. But I’ll probably move to California instead once I can afford it.

AKA can hardly interact with other kids due to having an "aid" there constantly watching me as if I am cognitively impaired/violent. A great restriction in my abilities to socialize and overall alienation which I had great disdain for.

I'm sure it's available online somehow.

Bolushi is only in Middle School? Not even. He's not in any school at all, but should be.
