I'll bet on Kangal just because I know what they can do and know nothing about Moros. How big was MI?

Also that "Kangal" depicted is not a Kangal. It is a fat status symbol mutt if it is being marketed as Kangal. Looks more like an Aksaray Malakisi. A fat designer one still as a legit AM is basically a Kangal in working shape.

Take away the big killer claws and I'd like a dog's chances against a similar sized dromaeosaurid. If the feet of an animal aren't massively dangerous, dogs do well. Too many things that need to be controlled, and they can find themselves in trouble. Even human and baboon hands are potentially problematic.
All that said, I don't rate the kangal as a masterful gainer and maintainer of control, so if this thing was quick and manuveurable it may be able to beat the kangal using jaws alone.

What is it's estimated weight?
Relying on just it's jaw means it probably had an impressive jaw, but it also means it's feasible for a dog to lug it. Maybe not a kangal, but some kind of dog. If it's physically possible for an animal to be held in such a way where it can't effectively retaliate, there's a dog somewhere that can make it look silly for a while.

That's not so bad. I think it could be done.
