And what did the hyena do in return?
If a few greyhounds can kill a hyena and a pitbull and boerboel can drag one around (a much larger one too), what's to be learned from 2 LGDs completely nullifying a hyena but not obliterating it because they're interfering with each other?

The hyena would've died anyways, 2 dogs can sometimes make things more difficult than just one. 2 giant dogs noisily running through the mountains are quite visible to me?

Yeah I don't like using that video of them "failing to kill the striped hyena" as a knock against the kangal (even though I actually dislike kangals, and LGDs in general). They were in total control, I've seen dogs "fail" to kill a fox or even a possum under similar circumstances. Having multiple dogs can actually prevent any one dog from being able to kill the target, rather than assist in killing it more easily like you might think.
Hyenas are also very durable so it's not SO bad even if one failed to kill it. They were still very easily controlling it and it couldn't do anything so.... whatever. Big fat L for the hyena.

Well I've just seen people try and shit on dogs in general based on that video many times and it's idiotic because it just features a hyena getting beaten up. Nothing more and nothing less. I truly dislike kangals and all LGDs but they undeniably did nothing wrong in that video. They were easily handling the hyena and it gave nothing back. There are incidents where lions fail to kill hyenas and I don't see this tarnish the reputation of lions so I genuinely don't understand why that video tarnishes kangals even, let alone "dogs" which it inexplicably seems to. There's always a higher standard dogs are held to.
