As you can tell, I’m on a bit of a spectacled bear craze lately. I kinda think a large green anaconda might be too much for one to handle.

A 550 lb anaconda should kill the short-faced bear’s relative imo. At average I’m not sure. The largest Spectacled bear was 491 lb, but was considered obese, so the snake should surely have this at max sizes… |

I think the spectacled bear will eventually win if in a face to face fight. The anaconda’s best chance is by ambush but if the spectacled bear can outlast its coils, it will win.
How an anaconda wraps itself around something it cannot swallow will be interesting.
