Most humans would be able to win using their intelligence, dexterous hands, and feet to kick and stomp the armadillo’s head which can be exploited. They might incur some leg injuries due to the armadillo’s large claws though.

The guy in the OP screams and calls the cops to shoot the anteater. A tough, rugged farmer would get clawed to death too but he could feasibly try to get around the anteater I guess.
