The Gecko is twice the size and has very dangerous jaws. Imo we need a stoat or possibly something bigger.

I'm biased for geckoes (they're like mini crocs and I like their scales in comparison to anoles) but I think the gecko would lose. If you trapped them in a pantry the gecko would outbite the weasel but I'm not sure about its odds out in the open. I think a tokay gecko could catch this weasel hanging off of a tree or wall, it's strong enough, but can it catch the weasel?

I dunno, the gecko has very powerful jaws for its size but the weasel/stoat is a lot faster. Out in the open I’d favor the stoat but in a closed environment the gecko could catch it more easily and gain the upper hand.
