After a quick Google search of their skulls I expect the red panda to win. Its skull is far deeper and more impressive. Red panda: Virginia opossum: I believe the red panda would bite and maul the opossum to death despite its herbivorous diet.

Opossums are lethargic weaklings. Panda wins 100/100. Maybe you could try with raccoon?

Even skunks kill opossums, not with their stink either they just beat them up and kill them, and skunks lose to basically everything if they have to fight. Opossums look tough but aren't. A red panda could probably kill 30 of them like a terrier in a rat pit.

I honestly don't know how impressive or unimpressive they are, but I have to lean towards them probably being way overpowered for opossums because practically everything is. As far as I know they have no close relatives, but their closEST relative is the racoon. If they are anything like a racoon they can mow through countless opossums, and for all we know they may be superior to racoons.

Incredibly tiny, but yes I can see why one might say that. Proportionately long canines for sure, and mustelids are always a little OP, but skunks seem to be the least OP no doubt owing to the stink spray facilitating laziness when it comes to self-defense.
