This is a thread for anybody to answer as well as post new matches for a predetermined number of Domestic Dog of predetermined weight versus a lone 220 lb male Pantanal jaguar. You can also choose different Domestic Dogs for the matchup if you wish, as long as weight is determined for each dog. I will start with a few assorted matchups (and again, every entry is against a lone 220 lb Jaguar): 1. 200 lb Kangal (2) 2. 70 lb German Shepherd (5) 3. 100 lb Tosa Inu + 60 lb gamebred APBT (2) 4. 100 lb Cane Corso (3) 5. 120 lb Rottweiler (3) 6. 100 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback (2) + 40 lb Australia Cattledog (2) 7. 130 lb working English Mastiff (2) 8. 12 lb Patterdale Terrier (25) Attachments:

25 Patts would be redundant and boring, a horde of weaker animals sucks. Anyways, is this a gauntlet run or just a mashup of matchups for us to debate about? If they're suggestions I don't want to flood the forum with dogs, @ling is doing a good job of evening out the forum.

3, 4, 6 and 7 are the only real problems. Whatever... Jaguar grapples down one Kangal, the other tries to save its friend but its friend dies in seconds while it hesitates. Then it becomes 1 on 1 and the jaguar wins. The GSDs harass the jaguar doing no fatal damage, it doesn't go anywhere but the jaguar is worse off in the skirmish. APBT slams into the jaguar, the jaguar grapples it down but the Tosa jumps into the fray. APBT goes down and then the Tosa dies, jaguar is way too big for them. The Tosa's head skin would be a pain but the jaguar would have its way. Bulldog A engages the jaguar, gets grappled down. B and C jump onto the jaguar forcing the jaguar to let go of A which is severely impaired. B and C get a good hold, when the jaguar was fighting A, that gave B and C the perfect opening to get good holds. The jaguar gets mauled badly but eventually wins. It's too strong and one of them is a cripple. All of the Rotts die, they're way worse than the bulldogs. Dogs harass the jaguar, the 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks are very rough with it. All 4 of them tire it out, they pick it apart. The dogs beat the shit out of the jaguar but neither can kill the other so forfeit. Boarhound A smashes into the jaguar but immediately is overpowered and outgrappled, but Boarhound B arrives and its relatively OK friend helps B. A and B topple the jaguar over but the jaguar grapples A down, gets up, cripples it despite its B's hold. Then B also dies. Do you hate Patts and jaguars? The jaguar would be extremely annoyed and miserable getting nipped and mauled while murdering all of the Patts.

This one is a nightmare for the JAG IMO. It could potentially be harassed to death in a very miserable drawn out skirmish, it possibly won't be able to lay a paw on any of them. The jag could probably win the rest, but they won't be easy or guaranteed. A gauntlet of team 6 for 30 minutes followed by just about any other team for 30 minutes I think would be certain death for the jag.

I'll stop criticising the amount of dog stuff on here because I know you and others love them and it makes me look like a moron. If I'm uninterested in the debate I just won't comment. Apologies.

Harassing to death is possible, would take days though. Would've favored them if 1 of the dogs was switched out for a big catch dog. Ideally a drop dog held back for a bit.

Fair enough, though I won't make as many dog matchups anyways.
