Caporal would maul Boss to death. Boss may be flexible and dog experienced but Boss was no Caporal and he could never be a Caporal. It wouldn't be quick, it'd probably take an hour, but Caporal would win 100/100.
I think a better question would be Diesel v Caporal or Boss & Ralph v Caporal. This is just a bad matchup for Boss. If Antonio revived him and sent him to me so that I could raise him to fight dogs, cougars, wolves and bears maybe we'd be talking.

Haha yeah, there are levels. This is a bit like "my mate Eric was honestly a pretty tough guy... who would win? Eric or Fedor Emelianenko?". I'm not sure why we talk about my ex dogs on this board like they are fighting dogs, but I blame Bolushi for sure, lol.

Well Ralph and Boss did incidentally both get in a lot of fights and always seemed to win. In truth I consider Ralph more impressive than boss. Ralph against a legit fighting dog equal in weight (never weighed, but in hindsight probably ~60-70 lbs)? To me, that's actually, dare I say... somewhat interesting. Ralph was genuinely a rare dog that showed actual gameness. Boss was pretty typical for a neo mastiff x of his basic size. Against a big dog like caporal that could actually move and fight dare I say much better than him, with much better power-to-weight ratio and speed and agility and skill... no way.
On the other hand, Ralph vs a 60 lbs "chain weight" apbt... I don't really immediately see what he was lacking. He'd probably lose but I find it interesting to imagine because unlike nearly any other dog an apbt fights, he too viewed dogs as food basically and was 100% committed to killing them from the initial introduction, disregarded his own pain totally in that endeavour and never ever ever gave up. He was as fast and strong as a bull terrier (faster) and had an unbreakable grip (could swing on a spring pull endlessly). Also fought to kill and knew how to kill. If he was stolen to be a bait dog, they would have been shocked when he killed their green trainee pitbull. Against a legit pro... I guess it's logical to assume he would surely lose, but yeah it's an interesting thought. He was a 1 in 300 million dog though, fighting wise. It doesn't apply to all the dogs I've known.
Although... Diesel, was a freak in another way, just freakishly athletic for his monstrous size. So... I dunno, yeah, I guess I brought it on myself.

I thought Diesel vs Caporal would have been a mismatch. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Boss is the larger and stronger one of the two. However, Boss is ultimately no match for Caporal’s experience and tenacity. I expect Boss to initially dominate until getting tired. Then, Caporal will subjugate Boss although actually killing Boss would take a while.

I thought he meant caporal as in an assistant manager of a farm and I thought he meant boss as in a person who's the head of an organisation.
