Could "The Wolverine" out of X-Men (after his adamantium implants) beat the most formidable extant land predator on Earth MOTN ie say a 1,500 lb grizzly? If not, where are his limits on the carnivora spectrum? Can he take your average male 400lb African lion?
What about non-carnivorans like Spanish fighting bull? Where are his limits? Rhino?

Wolverine in the fictional comic world actually has defeated bears, I believe. He doesn't just have claws, he has regenerative healing abilities where he basically can't be killed. His "durability" is 100. He heals in real time. Broken bones mend and wounds heal themselves. I think he even once had his head cut off and the head regenerated a body. Not sure. I'm actually not as big of a geek on this stuff as it sounds but basically he is probably beating any terrestrial carnivore, I think.

Yeah his claws are far superior to any claws any extant land carnivoran has: And as Antonio said, he has real-time regenerative/healing ability. I'm not at all familiar with the comic version, but based on the movies it seems he's far stronger than the average man, maybe something on the order of 10 times stronger. He seems like he'd be way stronger than the world's strongest man, possibly a few times stronger. Also those claws are made of adamantium, which is an indestructable metal. He has has adamantium grafted to his entire skeleton so I guess he's tough in the way a Terminator is. Now that Antonio mentions it, I think I can actually see him outmatching the greatest extant land carnivorans. While he may or may not be stronger than a massive grizzly (based on the movies I'm thinking not quite), he does seem to have a superior weapon with those huge claws, along with way superior durability.

Wolverine would beat any animal that has ever existed - let a lone a bear lol.

Is this a rhetorical question? Even peak humans like Batman can physically beat large Bears.
