@hardcastle (I don't think pinging works but whatever) you know a lot about historical animal fights, how did dogs of this type fare against donkeys? I figured they used groups of 2. Who do you favor?

Every case of donkey vs dog fights I have read about (only maybe 3 vague references) actually were straight up one on one contests, but between larger dogs and donkeys. The smaller bulldogs probably had fights against donkeys as well and yes probably with numbers. I think two staffies could pull it off, maybe even one could if it was an exceptional individual. At the same time, 4 or 5 staffies could be massacred by a donkey if they sucked. They would have to be very decisive and serious in their approach. Donkeys are good at killing carnivorans. I have heard about a guy in central QLD who was a local legend that hunted feral donkeys with a pure wolfhound and his dirt bike. He'd sometimes use the dirt bike to knock them over if they managed to evade his hound. Apparently the dog would kill them. Still, donkeys are very dangerous, actually for both dogs and humans. The staffies could easily lose, but might win.

This could potentially be a good battle, donkeys are no joke, but if the staffy bulls were good working individualls then they would probably win
