Me personally I'm quite inactive. Annoying but there's truly nothing here that excites me about going outside besides torturing insects. I'd be more active in the north, so yeah hopefully in the future elite Montanian farmer Bolushi will be active enough to not let all of his animals die while he sits on his ass typing. Also hopefully he doesn't get diabetes, though I guess if I had collies I wouldn't mind suddenly dying and having my dogs work sheep to survive. Would be cool for all of you guys to reference.

They had us wait for 2 hours in the heat anyway before the game started and the much smaller kids were way more athletic and qualified than lumbering me. Thought about doing it again but my team doesn't seem to be around anymore. Plus I'm out of my age group anyways now. But it was pretty cool, the violent practice was perfect for me. The other kids were totally fucked. That's why they wanted me so badly even though IMO I was totally shit. Maybe they were seeing potential, but all the guys running around was too confusing and I didn't quite understand my role after pushing the guy in front of me. Are you good at it?

I’m pretty good, not exactly a generational talent but still decent, I play tight end and defensive end

I've been reduced to just hikes with my dogs pretty much. I try and do big arduous hikes as much as possible which include climbing up and down hills and gullies and stuff, but yeah I don't do any exercise where it's just exercise or sport for its own sake anymore. And it kind of shows, I've gotten kind of ... husky, in my 30s. Working night shifts and boozing doesn't help.
I was involved in a lot of sports as a youngster and hit the gym in my 20s, but since having kids the gym just feels like a waste of precious me time. Lol. I played rugby from like 6 to 18, and basketball from about 10 to 25 or so. I did like one year of greco roman wrestling at the pcyc when I was 12 or so, and even a little karate but that was beyond gay. I also raced BMX from about 8 to 14 (and did dirt jumping towards the end of that), and skateboarded at a pretty high level from 14 to 22. Then mucked around again for about a year or two when I was 27-28. I was the best skateboarder my age in my whole town, and in the top 4 or 5 for guys under 25. I got close to a store sponsorship where you get free stuff to represent the shop. I represented the darling downs in Rugby for just one year (like a region of south east queensland, a step below representing your state - you represent districts, then region, then state, then national). I didn't represent anything in basketball but did win an MVP trophy for my under 14 team, lol. My basketball style was like steph curry before steph curry, I would do really long 3s with great consistency and had good handles and did flashy circus layups. I actually got lucky being on decent teams and won quite a few championships in both rugby and basketball. In my 20s I was lifting weights and running a lot. I would do like 5 km and 10 km runs and time them on an app and compete with my friends in a dumb casual way. But yeah not anymore. I would like to change my lifestyle where the "hiking with dogs" is kind of like most of my life during each and every day from before sun-up. Hunting and working livestock etc. I don't know if I'll ever go back to gym/sport stuff though.

The getting too hot and nearly getting heat stroke, repeatedly, is how you get better at not getting heatstroke. Since you're big I guess you were on the line of scrimmage? either protecting the QB or trying to get to the QB on defense? Seems not very complicated but I have never played (well we'd play american football at lunchtimes at school actually, but we didn't really understand what we were doing).

My play style in football revolves around my combination of size and speed which my coach says is good, on defense it’s hard for o-line to catch me because even though I’m their height or taller, I am much faster. On offense it’s pretty much the same story, using my combination of size and speed, but I also have good hands so that helps on offense

Yes I know a tight end has to be a pretty impressive athlete. Big and strong but also fast and skillful.
In rugby I was a flanker mostly, sometimes a centre. I can't really think what the American football equivalent would be, the best I guess is a linebacker and/or running back. Flankers are known for tackling but have to be kind of quick to break away from the scrum (the position is also sometimes called "break-away") and "blitz" the opposing team's playmaker to shut down their attack before it starts. Other than that you're kind of generally just helping the other forwards and going to war in the scrums and rucks and mauls, pushing against the other teams big guys and fighting for the ball and yardage. But yeah the flankers are like some of the smaller guys in the scrum. Compact so they can scramble quicker. Around 5'10-6'0" and maybe 205 -220 lbs or so in the pros. I was about 5'10" and 185 lbs when I played in high school, now as a grown man I should be about 205 and was when I was fit in my 20s, but like I said I've dad bodded up a little and I'm closer to 230 these days.

Didn't realise this thread existed. Anyways I play for a football (soccer) club. I train twice a week on Thursday and Saturday, and play a match once a week on either Sunday or Tuesday.
I also go to the gym and play volleyball every Monday.

My job requires me to be active as I work in the warehouse. I wrap boxes stacked on pallets five days a week and load them into the truck with an electric pallet Jack. For the past two weeks, I had to work doubly hard as my senior workmate has taken too weeks off.
