The Alano Español is a farm bulldog used for catching bulls and pigs on farms. Also do some wild boar catch work and preparing bulls for arenas. They're the most functional bulldog as their function still exists in Spain, working on farms, bull catching and bull baiting. They bite and hold animals for their handler to manage, a valuable asset for cattle and pig farmers.
