The pitbull tackles the mandrill and gets killed because it doesn't have coverage on its flailing arms. Probably draw.

A match up on my favourite primate. I guess it depends. The mandrill is a better grappler and has long canines which are built for slashing. If it manages to catch the dog and slash at its throat etc, it will win.
The pitbull would most likely be the aggressor. I remember someone posting accounts on AVA where this canine is able to tolerate a lot of pain. Therefore, if the dog gets the mandrill by its throat or bite an appendage, it could rip my favourite monkey apart.

Everything on this forum is just Terrier, Terrier, Terrier and etc.

I actually also, incidentally, think it would be a nightmare for an APBT. Maybe a special large apbt that was a rare champion could somehow pull something out against the odds, but yeah odds on favourite normally would be the mandrill. Bad matchup for the dog. I say this despite thinking the apbt is the best fighter in the animal kingdom, but ... bogey opponents exist and adult male mandrills, drills and baboons are a problem for bullbreeds. |

This is a bad matchup for the dog but I still see it winning, the mandrill needs to kill it to end the fight and I don’t think it will kill the APBT before getting killed itself. It will still do damage and will give the dog injuries, like I said, this is a bad matchup for the dog
