The Scottish terrier is a type of terrier originally bred to hunt badgers in Scotland. They resemble schnauzers in appearance, but are a lot more robust with larger heads, thicker necks, and shorter legs. This one is especially robust, but difficult to tell if it's overweight due to its long fur.

A 25 cm tall Scottish terrier is around the same weight as a 40 cm tall miniature schnauzer. Attachments:

A 25 cm tall Scottish terrier is around the same weight as a 40 cm tall miniature schnauzer. Well spotted with the scottish terrier. I didn't think of them as being so robust, but their bone is among the few domestic dog bones shown in the vindolanda study and it looks ridiculously robust (proportionately)-

Look at the size of that head and the sheer girth of that neck on that staffy.

Look at the size of that head and the sheer girth of that neck on that staffy. Yeah their heads are the biggest proportionally of all the bull terriers and probably all the bull breeds period.
