Can't be bothered to make full-fledged discriptions, but, in short:
ELL gorilla: 169 kg
Lion: 190 kg

Imo the lion wins easily, 8-9/10 times. Simply too large. A silverback could tackle any cat and beat them more than 50% of the time, EXCEPT for the tiger and lion. Even at parity, the gorilla is outgunned. Two gorillas would be fairer. Still though, I do believe that a lion will never engage a silverback on a day-to-day basis if they were to co-exist, if a lion and a gorilla were eye-to-eye the primate would send the cat fleeing in the opposite direction in no time. But in a fight to the death? The tables turn, if a 60-65 kg leopard can kill a silverback, even by ambush, then I believe a 190 kg lion could kill one head on without too much difficulty, but still, injuries would be prominent on the cat; scars, bite marks etc.

Lion wins, better combo of strength and agility and will actually fight the gorilla face to face. Combined with the fact that primates have a bad matchup against felines.
and leopards have been documented killing adult male gorillas
