I think any bison could stomp 6, or 60, wolves into the ground.
I also think 2-3 big good lugger wolves COULD get the job done with a lot of harassing and tiring out the bison, and sneakily going for devastating KO snaps.

These are Yellowstone Wolves (Northwestern Wolves) fighting a Bison, of course. The full pack is much larger. But only a handful actually engaged and killed the Bison |
