British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was promises to ban the breed before 2023 ends under the Dangerous Dogs Act, he says he is going to soon create a comittee of experts to identify and define the breed first in order to ban it.
Do you support the measure? Why or why not?
I personally found it weird that until now Britain allowed XL Bullies (which are larger and more dangerous) while banning regular Pitbulls, it's like banning Cocaine but not Crack for lack of a better analogy.

There are still some loopholes homever, i can see XL Bully owners simply reclassify it as a "Mastiff" "XL Staffordshire" "Crossbreed" or something like that to get around the ban

I think XL bullies should be banned, but for totally different reasons than why they are. They're actually not good enough at being dangerous and that is why they should be banned. Lol.
These dumb reactionary responses to a hyped news story always give off such a "low IQ" energy. "A thing happened, we have to do something to try and undo the thing that happened". Its like chimps are making laws.
I will likely be exporting bull arabs to the UK in the future, maybe they can replace the XL bullies. Big upgrade.

Yeah, it's absolutely stupid as fuck they would ban pitbulls but not XL Bullies, if they're going to be banning dogs. Pitbulls are a lot lot lot more like a Staffy, nothing like "American Bullies". XL Bullies are a large, generally fat bandog with a tiny bit of pit ancestry but primarily a kitchen sink mutt of mastiffs, then bred to kill people for several generations. That's the only thing they're good at. I don't support banning any breeds, banning dogs is stupid, BUT there's nothing to miss about XL Bullies and their owners. I'll bet on the "Bully Kutta" being the next supervillain in the UK, but they're actually good. metro.co.uk/2022/08/14/woman-chewed-like-meat-by-dog-wants-dangerous-breed-on-banned-list-17180618/Not that there's a reason for them to be there, though they're literally just Great Danes anyway. I wonder if they will also ban Great Danes when they get around to the Bully Kutta?

The same people who own the XL Bullies will find something else, and the BK might be their choice. Great Danes would be banned because they look like (and are) Bully Kuttas, that's the logic.

Yeah the people who own American Bullies (especially XLs, XXLs, micros and pockets) tend to be dumb as fuck. With exceptions, like Lincoln, but he got it by accident and his dog looks alright.

I think it’s stupid for multiple reasons, like how the bad breeding most likely lead to this, banning breeds doesn’t stop dog attacks, etc. but it may be good for the breed because I’ve only seen one kennel in the UK that actually breeds good working bullys. I’ve heard about the UK potentially banning Mals too

Lol, this is what happens when you ban gun ownership and leave citizens defenseless to government tyranny. If they pulled some shit like that against pitbulls in the USA the first animal control scumbag to step into a pit owner's yard gets shot 50% of the time. There's already been quite a few incidents like that where dicks try to capture some guy's dog and then they end up eating a well-deserved bullet. Wouldn't be surprised to see the American Bulldog funnelled into the chaos too. They would probably fall under their loose categorization.
