Hippo. It can use its weapons far easier and tear up the walrus horribly.

I honestly am not too sure, but I feel that the hippo should win. It has better manoeuvrability, very thick skin itself, just like the walrus, and those jaws can snap a croc in half.
Though I do believe the walrus too could manage to win sometimes.

Hippo easily. Just too large.

This could easily be a weight-parity face-off. I voted hippo, although in deep water, the walrus might take it.

Here's a hot take- I think in deep water the hippo would win more assuredly than on land. I almost can't imagine a walrus fighting underwater. I can picture them offering more resistance on land, where they naturally fight.

I can picture them offering more resistance on land, where they naturally fight. Remember this guy, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, a French naval officer, oceanographer, filmmaker and author? I read a book of his once, where he told of an epic battle between a bull walrus and an orca. He stated, after a terrific fight, the orca finally managed to kill the walrus. However, the orca had suffered some horrific wounds from which it may possibly have died soon after the battle.
