What is true is that honey badgers are really, REALLY durable. Entire packs of dogs whoop them but they just turn around in their skin and keep biting back at them. No impressive offense, no injuries on the dog side, but the honey badger takes a pretty strong dog to kill in any acceptable amount of time. rumble.com/v39sr2r-honey-badger.html At the same time, they are in no way an offensive threat. They do not hurt dogs, whatsoever. What those dogs needed in that last video was an SBT or something. Would've made life much easier. If one of those dogs was even 20% bull it would've been about 100x an easier job, but still every time the dogs got a hold it was a bunch of skin and the badger could still fight back. The reason Jagds and the like aren't used on honey badger (to my knowledge) is because they're just too durable.
Those were pretty shit dogs tbh, straight up culls, i think that a dog like this white one would have finished the quarry in those two minutes, straight up oneshot. Also look at how the black dog's face was messed up at the end (I do not condone any of this ofc)
I wouldn't call them culls. They're pariah dogs after all, that's genuinely how they behave in such conditions. I agree that white dog in the video would've ruined a honey badger. I think an SBT would, not a one-shot but I'd give it under 3 minutes. Potentially 60 seconds or under. Also those idiots need to learn how to break up a dog fight. I hate when they're so desperate to break them up one dog is getting fucked up when it can't do much about it since they're so bad at breaking them up so you just have one dog locked onto it, tugging, causing damage. If you're gonna do that shit at least know what you're doing.
I GOT CHLAMYDIA I PASS IT ON PURPOSE. I AINT 'GON TREAT IT I HOPE EVERY BITCH GET IT!
That skinny yellow dog I posted is a neo X staghound. Weird runt.
How in the hell
I never would have guessed in 17 million tries, but after knowing I can kind of see it in the face of the dog. Things like that happen a surprising amount, mixes turning out nothing like you'd expect and mixes that should be big being strangely small and also the opposite. I have seen Bullmastiff cross wolfhounds that are 25 kgs and EBT X greyhounds that are 70+ kgs (lean).

Honestly that's how I knew with confidence that BKs and Gull Terrs and Gull dongs and etc weren't their "native dogs" like they claimed. They're always so clueless on how to handle them. Its like if you gave a laptop to a Neanderthal and he just shrugged and tried biting it. They're always confused and shrugging when gripping dogs are fucking shit up. You won't see country people where I live looking confused or struggling with controlling a gripping dog for 1 microsecond.
That being said, how effective are they in hunting?
I heard that they make bad pets.
Sadly we have lost lycaon as a member who had a Jindo, which is pretty similar to a shiba, and they even hunted with it.
They are effective in hunting in the spitz style, which is very similar to a dingo basically. They use the full "suite" of natural wolf hunting behaviours and have a similar balance of drives and inclinations. They could also be compared to "curs" in many ways. This leaves them somewhat "mediocre" at any one particular focussed field of hunting relative to specialised hunting dogs, but generally versatile and impressive and useful for an almost endless variety of game. From mice and rats and rabbits up to big stags and wild boar. They can be especially good at hunting steep mountains and thick scrub due to their small size and agility.

Cross dog nature is utterly surprising and interesting sometimes, I'm also aware that most of the time smaller gripping dogs crossed with sighthounds may reproduce sometimes larger dogs than larger boarhounds crossed with the same sighthounds .
The best example that also comes to my mind is Dogo x greyhound and Bulldog/Apbt x Greyhound difference from what I've seen, most of the time Dogals despite having the mighty dogo genes inside of them come out with this most of the time:
Whereas Bullgreys come out as this with cool frequency :
